Description

Angela Chambers is a community leader, advocate for youth, and acclaimed dance artist. Her journey in the arts shifted from Musical Theater to dance at UCSC, where she discovered its potential for personal transformation and social activism. Angela emphasizes access, equity, and excellence through her teaching and directing at Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center and the SCC Black Health Matters Initiative Youth Ambassador program.
